Just Tulips

Soak the OASIS® NAYLORBASE® Posy Pad and drain excess water from it. Cut the Phormium leaves into pieces approximately 8cm in length. Pin the Phornium sections into place in a varying pattern making sure the slices of leaf overlap and cover the OASIS® NAYLORBASE® Posy Pad. Spray with OASIS® Floralife® Leafshine for a glossy look.
Build up the Phormium by raising some sections on Steel Pin stilts to give a three-dimensional look. Start to add the Tulips swirling them around the outside of the base and inserting the stems firmly into the floral foam. Bend the long Tulip stems and secure with Steel Pins. If the stems are too turgid leave the Tulips out of water for a while to allow the stems to bend without breaking.
Continue to add more Tulips building up the design to develop several layers of interest, and keep entwining the Tulips to create a domed shape. Don’t forget to re-cut the stems with a knife to produce a sharp diagonal cut and push the stem firmly into the floral foam to aid security and longlevity.
