High Performance

Take two canes the same length as the OASIS® Ideal Floral Foam Netted Garland and secure the canes firmly to either side of the floral foam at intervals. Use Pot Tape to bind tightly over the canes and floral foam to make the Garland rigid. Cover the back and sides of the floral foam with Finland Moss using Mossing Pins to secure.
Ensure the Finland Moss covers the entire back and sides of the floral foam and covers the canes leaving a channel of floral foam at the front for the flowers and foliage. Bind over the Finland Moss with Metallic Wire for a neat flat appearance. Wet the Garland but do not over soak, as this will make the structure too heavy.
Add well-conditioned Conifer and evergreens in random patterns throughout the length of the Garland. Remove any pine needles from the base of the Conifer stems for secure insertion into the floral foam. To support the Garland make a tapering cane structure as tall as the Garland by firmly binding four tall canes at equal distances together with three cross supports. Place the cane support into a heavy Large Tall Glass Cube and fill with chippings or stones for additional weight and security. The Garland will sit safely between the pronged cross supports. Add groups of Phalaenopsis Orchids and Lotus Heads then finish by gluing in place dried materials or baubles if desired.
