OASIS® Floral Foam Maxlife helps designers win Gold, Gold, Gold!

OASIS® Floral Foam Maxlife, the latest product to be launched from OASIS® Floral Products has helped top designers to scoop Gold Awards at this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show. OASIS® Floral Products sponsored a number of stands at the Chelsea Show including Interflora, NFU and NAFAS who all won Gold Medals, plus British Florist Association who won silver.

As everyone knows, the floral displays around Chelsea are prepared in advance to the show being open to the public which puts immense pressure on the designers to ensure all displays are finished in time but stay looking their best throughout the show, whatever the weather. Despite this year’s testing conditions, with the help of OASIS® Floral Foam Maxlife, the floral displays looked immaculately fresh throughout the four day show, lasting a minimum of 7 days when preparation time is taken into consideration.

With its secret formula, OASIS® Floral Foam Maxlife gives up to 50% longer flower life allowing the designs to be created in advance, saving time and the amount of replacements needed. Anthony Hart, UK Sales and Marketing Manager explains “As long as the flowers and foliage have been cut and conditioned properly and the floral foam soaked in flower food treated water, there is no reason why designs can’t be made up to two days in advance, allowing designs to still look fantastic and last well.”

David Denyer’s Interflora design ‘A Sense of Perspective’ was made up of a series of nine doorways exhibiting a rainbow of colour down the seven metre length. OASIS® Floral Foam Maxlife was pivitol to the arrangement as the doorways were filled with Floral Foam during construction and the stems arranged to create the stunning design. Due to the nature of the display, having the opportunity to prepare and design in advance yet guarantee the flower life was vital to keeping the display looking fresh and pristine for all to see.
