OASIS® Floral Products along with Tampereen Kukkatoimitus held a workshop on March 9th 2010, sponsored by Suomen Kukkatarvike. 30 people signed up for the workshop which explored Easter and springtime themes.

The teacher was Katri Gummerus who is a teacher in Jämsä voc-tech school, a Finnish judge, a Master of floral design and also an entrepreneur in the flower business.

OASIS® Floral Products and Tampereen Kukkatoimitus selected a range of products which were ideal for Easter and spring designs. Katri picked different wires: Aluminium Wire, Myrtle Wire, Bullion Wire and some Paper Covered Wires, showing good techniques as to how to use them.

Katri used different OASIS® Floral Products Glues and Adhesives in her designs, describing the differences between the products and what work each would be best suited for.

Katri also used a lot of ribbons and Organza Fabric which were ideal for spring designs as they come in a range of textures and colours. Acrylic Containers, OASIS® RAINBOW® Foam and the range of Cutting Tools from OASIS® Floral Products were also popular items used on the day.
