In the former Olympic city of Lilehammer the Norwegian flower industry (Norsk blomsterhandlerforbund) and Interflora Norway AS is arranging the annual Norwegian Florist Championships.

The Norwegian Championships have been established since 1968 and are planned and executed together with local Flower associations. There are sixteen flower associations throughout Norway and 2009 will be the year that Hedmark and Oppland flower association come together with VEA-State School for Garden and Floristry for the competition.

In the Norwegian Championships you will get the chance to see the latest techniques, designs and expressions in floristry. All of the competing florists have passed the local district championship to earn their place in the Norwegian Championship.
